Shazam! Yeah using the straight light approach took me a little longer then using curves, but I wanted to challenge myself with only using straight lines. It was a fun challenge, But I'll be using curves in my future illustrations. Ka-ZooOoOM!

Nice ink job, although your "straight line approach" drives me a little nuts. After working in a vinyl sign shop and seeing what a nightmare unnecessary anchor points can be, I'd much prefer to use curves and limit the number of points as much as possible. But the outcome is still gorgeous.

It was a fun project. I did this for about 2 hours a night for 5 nights. I was watching Freaks & Geeks on Veoh while i did it. So that might have slowed me down a little.

Wow -- thanks for sharing and for all the commentary and pictures.

All straight lines? That's pretty wild, and I wouldn't have thought of that, but now I can see the point.

I'm sure you spread this out over some time, but about how long do you think it took in total?
